This self-study series explores the role of cash and credit within a business and highlights the importance of credit analysis, financial statement analysis, cash management, collection techniques, and the management of the collection process.

You will explore the five C's of credit, various advanced credit techniques and learn a five-step financial ratio analysis model that includes: liquidity, activity, leverage, operating performance, and cash flow analysis. You'll also gain a better understanding of how tax return analysis can be used to determine a company’s cash flow position.

This course explores the role of cash and credit within a business and highlights the importance of credit analysis, financial statement analysis, cash management, collection techniques, and the management of the collection process.
Many financial professionals including CPAs, bankers, CFOs, controllers, financial analysts and credit underwriters use financial ratios but do not leverage them for maximum effectiveness.
Attend this course and gain a better understanding of how tax return analysis can be used to determine an individual and company’s cash flow position. With this knowledge, the CPA will be able to help their clients improve their cash flow position, obtain financing, and/or better manage their on-going business operation.
This pro-active course will explore the “basics” of bank credit including the Five “Cs” of credit-capacity (cash flow), capital (debt versus equity), collateral (assets pledged), conditions (local, regional, national, and international economic conditions), and character (ethical “history” of the borrower).
