Excel Power Reporting with Mapping Tables (Currently Unavailable)

Author: Jeff Lenning

CPE Credit:  2 hours for CPAs

In this session, we'll use two Excel items, tables and SUMIFS, together to build a mapping table.

A mapping table is a powerful technique that enables us to automate the data flow from export to report even when the labels are different and when aggregation needs to occur. In addition, we'll apply the data validation feature to reporting and discover how to create a comprehensive error-check worksheet that alerts us to potential workbook errors. Note: this course is designed for Microsoft Excel for Windows, and selected items may not be available in Excel for Mac.
