2 hours Federal Tax Law for CTEC

In these times of political stagnation in Congress, it is not uncommon for accountants to be under the impression that there are no new business tax rules in effect.

However this is simply not true. First the stagnation in Congress has caused several expiring tax provisions not to be renewed. Second, over the course of the last year there have been many regulations issued, significant court cases decided, and a large number of rulings issued by the Internal Revenue Service. Accountants in both the public and private sector must be aware of both the new regulations and rules and of which statutes have not been renewed in order to maximize their advice and strategies for the business they serve. This webinar will cover a wide range of business tax issues which have seen significant changes in the past year.
