CPE Link Policies

Webcast Policies

  • Registrations for each webcast will be taken up to the start of each program. CPE Link reserves the right to substitute speakers in the case of instructor illness. In the event that CPE Link must cancel a webcast, all attendee registration fees will be refunded in full. For all webcasts that are recorded, participants will have access to the recording for three months following the live webcast. Partial credit will not be awarded for attendees that are not present for the entirety of webcast nor answer all of the polling questions. Additional credit will not be awarded due to the instructor presenting over the allotted time.

Self-Study Policies

  • Participants who wish to earn credit for a self-study course must complete the program within one year from date of purchase. Certificates of completion may be accessed and printed immediately upon receiving a passing grade. Most courses have a minimum passing score of 70%. Ethics courses require 80% to pass. California ethics courses require 70% score to pass. Test-takers will not be provided feedback on failed exams. Upon achieving a passing score, test-takers will be notified of the correct answers to the questions missed.

Unlimited Webcast Pass Policies

  • Subscription is valid for one year from date of purchase.
  • You may attend any live webcast scheduled during your subscription period.
  • The Unlimited Webcast Pass is for the purchaser's individual use and is non-transferable. (For unlimited CPE for your whole firm, see the Unlimited Firm Pass.)
  • Exam Review webcasts are excluded from the Unlimited Webcast Pass program.
  • Registrations for each webcast will be taken up to the start time of the program.
  • When you select automatic renewal, your Unlimited Webcast Pass Subscription will continue uninterrupted at the $395 annual rate.
  • If you wish to turn off your auto-renewal, your subscription will expire at the end of its annual term. You will be charged $50 to reflect the discount provided at the time of purchase for registering with automatic renewal.
  • The Unlimited Webcast Pass cannot be cancelled once the user has attended more than one webcast.

Value Pass Policies

  • Each Value Pass is valid for one year from date of purchase.
  • Once a Value Pass holder has reached the CPE hour limit for either live webcasts or self-study courses, he or she will be charged the full price for each additional program.
  • Value Pass hours are for the purchaser's individual use and are non-transferable. (For unlimited CPE for your whole firm, see the Unlimited Firm Pass.)
  • Value Pass may not be combined with other discounts.
  • When a CPE Link webcast or self-study program is provided by an outside content provider, it may be excluded from the Value Pass Program. Any exclusions will be clearly noted in the program descriptions.

Unlimited Firm Pass Policies

  • Subscription is valid for one year from date of purchase.
  • Users may select any self-study course or attend any live webcast scheduled during the subscription period.
  • The firm account administrators control which staff may use the Unlimited Firm Pass; Designated staff may be changed only if the original staff member did not use any hours.
  • New staff may be added during the subscription year (for $195); Upon renewal of the Unlimited Firm Pass, staff who did not enjoy a full year subscription, will pay a reduced fee pro-rated based on the number of months they were active during the prior subscription year.
  • Your Unlimited Firm Pass automatically renews unless the administrator cancels before the renewal term begins; Administrators will receive a reminder email 30 days prior to renewal.
  • Unlimited Firm Pass fees are refundable within 30 days provided the firm did not use the Pass during that term.

Elite Membership Program Policies

  • The Elite Membership is for individual use and is non-transferable
  • Elite Membership is valid for one year from date of purchase
  • You may register at a discount for any live webcast held during your membership period
  • You may purchase at a discount any self-study course available during your membership period
  • Elite Membership automatically renews unless the member cancels before the renewal membership term begins; Members will receive a reminder email 30 days prior to renewal
  • Elite Membership fees are refundable within 30 days of the original purchase (or renewal date) provided the member did not use the Membership to obtain an eligible discount or benefit during the new or renewal Membership term

Cancellation Policy

  • If you are unable to attend a webcast, you may cancel up to three days before the event and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than three days prior will be refunded the course fee, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation of multi-session programs (such as CMA Review) that do not allow for single webcast registrations may incur a higher administrative fee.
  • When cancelling an individual webcast purchased with discounted bundle pricing, your original savings will be forfeited.
  • No shows (or cancellations made after the start of the program) will forfeit the entire registration fee.
  • The Unlimited Webcast Pass cannot be cancelled once the user has attended more than one webcast.

Refunds and Complaint Resolution Policy

  • CPE Link offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any live webcast program you have attended or self-study product you have purchased, provided you have not earned CPE credit from that webcast or product, please send your refund request to: Customer Service, CPE Link, 4340 Stevens Creek Blvd Suite 160, San Jose, CA 95129. Refunds will not be given for no shows. For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaint and refund, please contact Customer Service.

All information related to financial transactions (such as cardholder account numbers) is never shared with third parties.
  • With respect to cookies: We use cookies to record session information only, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart.
  • If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by visiting My Account or by selecting "opt out" on any email that you receive from CPE Link.
  • If you supply us with your postal address on-line you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by visiting My Account.
  • Please provide us with your exact name and address. We will be sure your name is removed from the list we share with other organizations
  • With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.
  • From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
  • Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by visiting My Account.
  • Upon request we provide site visitors with access to unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password) that we maintain about them, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) that we maintain about them, communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries), contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them.
