Sonya Wilt

Sonya Wilt, BS in Management, EA and entrepreneur. A graduate of Upper Iowa University, Fayette, and former student of Eva Rosenberg’s Enrolled Agent Review Course, Sonya also has an extensive background in management and accounting, development of business and marketing plans, small business consulting, and employee training; for various small and mid-size businesses.

As a shareholder, general partner, sole-proprietor, real estate investor, and tax professional; Sonya intimately understands the need to stay on top of the ever-changing tax laws.
“My desire to stay on top of the changes in tax law is two-fold:
1. to make sure my entities are taking advantage of every legal tax deduction available and then making sure they are able to keep those deductions with adequate documentation, and
2. to provide our clients with accurate information so that they may make solid decisions in both resolving current tax issues and legally protecting their future earnings.”

Sonya is an Enrolled Agent, authorizing her to practice (represent taxpayers) before the Internal Revenue Service. “While reading tax code can be almost painful, using the tax code to defend taxpayers is very rewarding.” Sonya and her partner, Tom Buck, CPA aggressively represent clients before state and federal taxing authorities through audits, appeals and collections.
